Introduction

The Co-Applicant/BIN Sponsorship model is designed for entities that prefer not to establish direct relationships with payment networks. Through this model, entities can issue cards using Girasol Lotus procesisng under Girasol’s Principal Membership license with Mastercard. This option is available in specific jurisdictions and is governed by Girasol’s predefined business models and rules. Partners can issue both virtual and physical Mastercard cards—debit, credit, or prepaid—either integrated into their own product ecosystem or in conjunction with our digital wallet, Gwap.

This model provides a comprehensive set of API functionalities to manage the entire card lifecycle, including creation, blocking/unblocking, setting controls, and delete.
